The Chop Shop is getting back to its roots and making a positive choice to stay true to our mission. We believe in forming and maintaining a healthy relationship with the community, we believe in giving you the best darn hairstyle at an AFFORDABLE PRICE.  Unfortunately with Granville’s street overhead becoming an ever increasing expense and we fear these values will be lost and our clients will have to pay for it in the end. So the doors of the Granville Street Chop Shop have closed and the majority of our staff will be working at the Commercial Drive location. While others will be pursuing work elsewhere, to them we wish for nothing but the best, and we’ll be happy to let you know where they are. To our loyal customers, our Choppers, we thank you for your years of support, you kick ass!

Chop Shop Victoria to Open this Summer.  

Chop Shop Hair Salon will be opening a brand new location in Victoria, BC in August of this year.  947 Fort Street Victoria , BC will be the home of the first shop to be based outside of the greater Vancouver area.   The local owner's are Victoria residents Ashlea Kolt and Sean Stewart. Stylist Doug Macneil will also be an active part of the Victoria Chop Shop crew as well.  Doug has worked for the Chop Shop company in Vancouver for several years and will bring his tradtional skills as a professional barber to the team. Ashlea is a popular voice in her community and brings a set of sharp skills  to the shop's high standards of service. Both are super excited to bring the Chop Shop Hair Salon to an eager community and get to work on making Victoria, that much more beautiful.   See you soon!

The Victoria location is the 3rd salon in the fleet of the Chop Shop motorcade and will feature full service hair styling and include a traditional barber chair and the full service JOICO colour bar.

Chop Shop Hair Shop Celebrates the Grand Opening of a New Location. 

Saturday, December 18^th 

The official store launch and ribbon cutting ceremony will be conducted with the support of the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association, (DVBIA) joined by representatives, important sponsors, close supporters of the Chop Shop.

The event will feature an unforgettable entrance completed with red carpet, moving lights, branded signage and digital video content featuring sponsor recognition and providing glamour an excitement to the occasion.

Guests will be served refreshments as they take in the new location while networking with colleagues. Live music, a special hair demonstration and acknowledgements from officials and supporters will also be scheduled. 

Promotional incentives and product give-away will also be distributed through out the day to patrons and passers by the new Granville Street location and later to invited guests at the launch event reception.
